![]() (S18) M :: The left and right (inverted) copy has
previously been reported used with several theory's on
this stamp postmarked c1902. The middle copy was put
together by Dave Elsmore in December 2025 using the
below perforation machine, this stamp has since been
destroyed,(see lower graphic).
This perforating machine was made by 'Turner, Atherton & Co Ltd'. Engineers, Denton, Manchester, England and was mass produced being sent out throughout the Commonwealth. It would produce a single letter at a time. The heading graphic to this page at the very top has been made from this machine. ![]() ![]() Proving piece now destroyed -- ![]()
VOCo This VOCo
pattern is attributed to the VOCo device used by
Vacuum Oil Co. Ltd. in Fremantle Australia. Various
New Zealand issues have been seen with this punch
which was in private hands till 2024, please
disregard if found.
